Technologies and tools you can use
At a hackathon, it is not important what specific program or technology you use. The important thing is to find the right tool for your idea and create a working prototype that shows your solution. You can use everything from artificial intelligence and modern web applications to robotics, sensors and IoT to simulations, data analytics, or custom AI models running directly on your computer.
The overview below serves only as an inspiration and demonstration of possible technologies, not as a complete list of allowed tools. If you know other technologies, frameworks, programming languages, cloud services, or hardware that will help you bring your idea to life, you can use them as well. The goal is not to use a specific tool, but to create an interesting, functional, and innovative solution.
Important: All hackathon rules regarding fair competition and self-development continue to apply. Do not use pre-created products, ready-made solutions, competition-specific pre-trained projects, or other pre-prepared outputs that bypass the purpose of the hackathon. All work on the competition solution must be completed during the event in accordance with its official rules and guidelines. Common development tools, AI models, frameworks, libraries, and open-source projects are welcome as building blocks for your own solution, not as an already finished product.
Don’t be afraid to experiment. Most of the tools listed offer a free version, student licenses, or open-source alternatives. The hackathon is an ideal opportunity to learn something new, try modern technologies, and create something that did not exist yesterday.
